Due to severe weather on Monday July 8th, the overnight work that was scheduled to take place on Leslie Street, south of Lake Shore Blvd was cancelled. This work has been rescheduled for Monday July 15th. Traffic configuration and work times will remain the same as originally outlined.

On Monday July 8th there will be overnight construction work occurring on Leslie Street between Commissioners Street and Lake Shore Blvd.

The City of Toronto is continuing to engage on a range of issues related to transportation planning, transportation priorities, and funding.

The City of Toronto has announced a selection of artists who will present projects at the 2013 edition of Scotiabank Nuit Blanche. On Saturday, October 5, more than 110 contemporary art projects will be exhibited across the city for 12 hours from sunset to sunrise.

City-produced exhibition highlights at this year's event are three curated exhibitions, including a centrepiece installation by world-renowned artist Ai Weiwei of China, curated by Ami Barak.

Help Decide the Future of the Gardiner Expressway East

The Project: Waterfront Toronto and the City of Toronto have resumed the preparation of the Gardiner Expressway / Lake Shore Boulevard Reconfiguration Environmental Assessment (EA) and Integrated Urban Design Study. The EA will determine the future of the Gardiner Expressway East and Lake Shore Boulevard East, from approximately Jarvis Street and east of the Don Valley Parkway. Four alternatives will be considered within the study area, including: maintaining, improving, replacing, or removing the elevated expressway.
