The City of Toronto today released the complete artistic program for the 10th edition of Scotiabank Nuit Blanche. On Saturday, October 3 from 6:55 p.m. until sunrise on Sunday, October 4, the streets of Toronto will be transformed by more than 110 art projects created by and featuring nearly 400 local, national and international artists. The Toronto East Rotary Club is holding its 6th Annual Arts and Crafts Sale on Saturday, November 14th, 2015, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, at Eastminster United Church, at the corner of Danforth and Jackman Avenues (one block west of Chester subway station) with a number of diverse Artisans selling their creations. Refreshments will be available, together with live music, face painting and a draw. Proceeds raised go to community projects including the Out of the Cold Program at Eastminster. Admission is free. Since 2008, Live Green Toronto has awarded grants of up to $30,000 for environmentally beneficial projects that address community needs such as: park enhancements, school yard improvements, local food gardens, bike infrastructure, tree planting and much more.

In the summer of 2015, the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games will draw more than 10,000 athletes and officials, 250,000 visitors and 4,000 media to Toronto and the Greater Golden Horseshoe region. Competitions will take place in more than 30 venues located in a 5,300-square kilometre footprint.
