Withrow Park Is Getting a New Rink! I am delighted to announce that Withrow Park will be getting a brand new, state of the art rink for the many skaters, ice and ball hockey players to enjoy. The new rink is in the design phase now.  Here is a sneak preview of the "conceptual" design.

Construction is scheduled to take place in the spring/fall of 2018 and if the weather cooperates

City of Toronto extends permit cancellations on Toronto Island Park due to flooding

Due to the continuing flood conditions on Toronto Island Park, permit cancellation has been extended to July 31. More than 300 permits for about 90 groups or individuals have been affected by flooding. City of Toronto staff are working with permit holders to provide any available options for rescheduling or relocating their events. Permits that cannot be rescheduled or relocated will be refunded through the usual processes. Permit holders should call 311 for assistance.

Tiverton Park Construction Starts Tuesday, September 5th

I am delighted to let you know that the revitalization of Tiverton Park is set to begin on Tuesday morning September 5. The park will be closed as removals and demolition of the existing playground takes place. If the weather cooperates the work is scheduled for completion in December 2017.

I am very happy to share with you the final designs for Tiverton Park.
