Thank you to everyone for your patience and support to get us here. Designed with accessibility front and centre with lots of input from the community, we should all be proud of this great new space.
It's a safe and user-friendly space for both dogs and people. It features a fantastic new accessible design with access to clean water to keep the pups refreshed, a new walkway, double gated entrances, separate areas for big and small dogs, a large rain/shade structure with seating, an artificial berm and some moveable exercise elements.
This could not have happened without the advocacy and dedication of community members who came together to make this wonderful new space for our furry friends happen.

We considered items relating to homeless shelters, the FIFA World Cup, Toronto's Winter Maintenance Program, new protections for renters, Metrolinx construction issues, measures to address rat infestations and more.
