Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in North America and Ward 14 Toronto-Danforth is no exception.
It's a game for all ages but is especially popular among seniors because it affords a great opportunity for exercise as well as the health benefits derived from remaining active. The number of facilities currently available do not come close to serving the demand and the number of players.
That's why I moved the following two motions over the last several months calling for city staff to report on how we can meet the growing demand for this sport:
