The City of Toronto, in partnership with Green Living Enterprises, invites you to nominate the individuals, companies and organizations leading the way to a cleaner, greener Toronto. Winners will receive a prestigious Green Toronto Award and $5,000 to further their work on the environment or donate to an environmental charity of their choice.
Categories for nomination include:
Green Home – NEW! – open to a Toronto resident who is leading change by greening their home
Green Business – NEW! – open to a business that is demonstrating excellence in green practices, strategies and products
Local Food — leadership in creating, managing and promoting local food
Community Projects — any individual, community group, or not for profit organization who act to green our neighbourhoods
Energy Conservation — systems and technologies that reduce and conserve energy
Environmental Awareness — leadership in raising eco-awareness
Green Design — leadership in innovative and sustainable green design and architecture, including eco-roofs
Leadership — individual leadership that is transforming our environment
Water Efficiency — leadership in managing and reducing water use
Youth Leadership — Toronto youth (18 and under) leading by example
