We considered luxury home tax rates, priority signalling for LRTs and streetcars, a maximum heat bylaw along with our next five-year climate plan and the Portlands Energy Centre.

Important Construction Notice: Leslie Barns and Traffic
In advance of new streetcar track construction on Leslie Street, TTC is
implementing major upgrades to underground infrastructure. Work includes various
utility upgrades including installation of a new water main to replace the over
80 year old service. Following the underground infrastructure works, TTC will
build new streetcar tracks on Leslie Street to connect to the existing tracks at
Queen Street. Streetscape improvements will then be finalized on Leslie Street
which will include new features such as wider sidewalks and new streetlights.
To replace the aging watermain, upgrade utilities and build new streetcar tracks
and infrastructure, the intersection at Leslie and Queen will be closed for
approximately six weeks between May 11-June 21, 2014.* (*The TTC will confirm
the schedule as soon as possible. Please check here regularly for updates) The
expected completion date for the overall construction of the Leslie Barns
facility (located at Lake Shore and Leslie) and all works on Leslie Street
including the utility upgrades, streetcar tracks and streetscape upgrades is
early 2015.
