I wanted to update you on the Broadview Avenue streetcar track replacement project.
Temporary TTC service changes at Broadview Station are now in effect. Beginning July 4th, traffic on Broadview between Gerrard and Danforth will be limited to one northbound lane until late November. Following Taste of the Danforth, Broadview will also be fully closed between Danforth and Erindale for 30 days.
Shops in the Broadview and Danforth/Gerrard area will remain open during construction. I encourage everyone to shop local and support local businesses.
Several temporary TTC service changes came into effect on Sunday, June 18th as part of the city and TTC's Broadview streetcar track and sewer rehabilitation project.
The TTC service changes are as follows:
The 8 Broadview, 62 Mortimer and 87 Cosburn bus routes will continue to service the station.
Subway service at Broadview Station will remain open for the entire duration of the project. Learn more about these TTC service changes here.

Track replacement on Broadview Avenue begins on Tuesday, July 4 and is scheduled to go until late November. During this time, travel on Broadview Avenue will be limited to one northbound lane only from Gerrard Street East to Danforth Avenue.
This work has been coordinated to ensure no impact to Taste of the Danforth in August.
Following Taste of the Danforth in mid-August, Broadview Avenue will be closed from Danforth to Erindale for 30 days, including the intersection of Broadview and Danforth.
