Multiple developments have been proposed or approved on Eastern Avenue between Coxwell and Broadview avenues; many of them are mixed-used buildings containing residential and commercial units.

Today, all those 18 years and older who had their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine more than three months ago, became eligible for a third dose, or booster, vaccine. Over the weekend, Mayor John Tory announced the City of Toronto and its Team Toronto partners have ramped up vaccination capacity to 1.2 million doses per month in anticipation of those seeking further protection from the Omicron variant of concern.

The City of Toronto is ready to begin expansion of its mechanical sidewalk snow clearing service this winter, to help improve safety for more residents, provide more equitable snow clearing service to more areas of the city, and support improved accessibility when it snows.
