News Release - Laneway Named After Inspiring Black Woman in Early 1900s Leslieville Unveiled
Luella Price Lane was named after the Eureka Club founder and resident of the Black community in early 1900s Leslieville.
New fences installed at Cherry Beach and John Chang Parkette
A beautiful new paddle and post fence has been installed in the off leash area at Cherry Beach to help delineate the dog area from the rest of the beach. Parks, Forestry and Recreation staff have also installed a black iron fence around the playground area at John Chang Parkette to improve safety. Both fences are lovely new additions to the park.
