This is East End Arts’ second year presenting East York Days, after a successful pilot in 2018 with Councillor Mary Fragedakis. Entry into the event is free, while voluntary donations will support East End Arts’ arts programs for youth in our community. Attendees are also encouraged to please bring non-perishable items for donation to the Bethany Food Bank. All are welcome to attend this family-friendly, outdoor summer concert series, and are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or a blanket to enjoy the musical lineup!
"East York Days' mission is to bring community residents, business owners and the arts together to celebrate what makes East York so special! I’m very proud to support and present so many fantastic east end musicians, and I look forward to welcoming east Toronto community members to this exciting outdoor music series for its second year,” says Councillor Paula Fletcher (Ward 14, Toronto-Danforth).
“City Hall Live is a music showcase series that spotlights Toronto's vibrant and varied musical talent. Since 2016, we’ve provided performance opportunities for 140 acts attended by approximately 45,000 people. Toronto’s east end is filled with diverse and talented musicians that we are thrilled to include in the East York Days series line-up,” says Jaclyn Tam, Special Events & Music, City of Toronto.
