engaging the community through stewardship, volunteering, and partnerships
ensuring the City's parks and trails are available and accessible to all residents
Because you care about City of Toronto's parks, I urge you to give your input into the City's new 5-year Parks Plan. There are two ways to share your ideas for the City's parks:
- Fill out the online survey at www.toronto.ca/parks/parksplan
- Attend one of the four public consultation meetings being held across the city:
Scarborough - November 7, 2011; 7-9pm (Warden Hilltop CC - 25 Mendelssohn St.)
North York - November 16, 2011; 7-9pm (Mitchell Field CC 89 Church Ave.)
Toronto East York - November 24, 2011; 7-9pm (Wellesley CC - 495 Sherbourne St.)
Etobicoke York - December 1, 2011; 7-9pm (Amesbury CC - 1507 Lawrence Ave. W)
If you plan to attend, please call 416-338-6608 or e-mail [email protected] to reserve a seat.
If you require ASL interpreting, attendant care, other accommodation or the use of drop-in activities for children over the age of three, please call or e-mail to the above at least 10 days prior to the meeting date.
I encourage you to attend one of the public meetings and complete the online Parks Plan consultation survey. For more information about the plan, visit www.toronto.ca/parks/parksplan or contact 311.
