Rivertowne Pedestrian Safety Walk

Many residents have called and emailed my office in regards to traffic and pedestrian safety concerns with in and around Rivertowne.

I am hosting this walk with Walkable Ward 30, a new pedestrian advocacy group; Toronto Community Housing; and the Ralph Thornton Centre.  Please join us in a community safety walk with the police, pedestrians, city staff and residents.

Bringing residents together to walk around the neighbourhood with City staff and local police is a great way to make our neighbourhoods safer and build a sense of community. Through this walk, we will identify areas that residents feel are unsafe and look for traffic calming opportunities.
