The fastest and easiest way to register is online. Toronto residents who want to register for programs should go to toronto.ca/torontofun (http://www.toronto.ca/torontofun) and follow the link to Toronto FUN online, or call the touch-tone registration phone line at 416-338-0000 and follow the voice prompts.
Residents registering online or by touch-tone phone will need family and client numbers. People who do not have a family or client number - which is like a "pin" number issued by Parks, Forestry and Recreation - and who intend to register for recreation programs, should call a client service representative at 416-338-4386 before registration begins.
It is also possible to register in person at Toronto City Hall and the Etobicoke Civic Centre, North York Civic Centre, and Centennial Recreation Centre in Scarborough, or with telephone assistance by calling 416-338-4386.
Online registration, touch-tone registration, in-person registration and telephone assisted recreation all start at 7 a.m. Residents can register until midnight via the internet or touch-tone phone, and until 4:30 p.m. if registering with telephone assistance.
Information about recent changes to the Parks, Forestry and Recreation Welcome Policy, which gives low income families and individuals who live in Toronto free access to City-operated recreation programs, is available at http://www.toronto.ca/wp.
