Dear Friends,
I hope you had a great summer and are enjoying the fall.
I am pleased to share that the long-awaited Leslie Lookout Park is now officially open.

Located at the east end of the Ship Channel in the Toronto Port Lands, the park, designed by CCxA, recycles an industrial landscape into a recreational hub with a public beach, forested dunes and a lookout tower offering views of the city skyline.

I am very pleased this beautiful new addition to our transforming waterfront is now open for everyone to enjoy.
The Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA)'s weekend enforcement and engagement activities at Tommy Thompson Park for August and September are as follows:
Thank you to TRCA staff for all their work and vigilance in protecting this cherished urban wilderness on our waterfront.
I will continue providing monthly updates on Tommy Thompson Park and the Leslie Street Spit.
Working for you,
Paula
