This month's City Council session was especially significant for me, as two initiatives I've worked on for a long time came to fruition.
Jimmie Simpson Rec Centre has reopened!
Earlier this week, Jimmie Simpon Recreation Centre was temporarily closed due to a malfunctioning fire alarm system. The issue has now been resolved and the centre has reopened. The pool at Jimmie Simpson will remain closed until tomorrow, Saturday December 18.
