The Coxwell-Gerrard watermain and streetcar track replacement project was completed in mid-July ahead of schedule.
I'm pleased to share that the Coxwell-Gerrard watermain and streetcar track replacement project was completed earlier this month ahead of schedule.
The Coxwell-Gerrard intersection has fully re-opened and the 22 Coxwell and 322 Blue Night bus routes have resumed service. The 506 Carlton streetcar route is now servicing all stops both ways along Gerrard St. E. to Coxwell. It's also servicing all stops on Coxwell between Lower Gerrard Street East and Queen.
506 Carlton Streetcar Route
The 506 Carlton streetcar route is now servicing all stops both ways along Gerrard St. E. to Coxwell. It will then turn south towards Queen Street East, restoring service to the section of Coxwell Avenue between Lower Gerrard Street East and Queen.
The 506 will resume its full regular route once Main Station construction is complete.
