ADULT USER FEES PROPOSED FOR JIMMIE SIMPSON
Dear Friends,
The 2011 City budget proposes to add adult user fees at Jimmie Simpson. Right now Jimmie Simpson has free programming for everyone.
This means that unless you qualify for the city's "Welcome Policy" that Adult Programs at Jimmie Simpson will cost between $48 and $75 for a 9 week session. Children and youth programming would still be free.
This change is going to City Council on February 23 to 25, 2011.
I do not support adult user fees for Jimmie Simpson and am working to have the proposal reversed. I think they will make fitness and recreation programs unaffordable for many in our community but I need to know what you think.
