On July 16th, 2013, Council requested that the Children's Services Division organize a summit for Toronto parents. The purpose of the summit is to hear directly from parents their priorities, issues and challenges in accessing child care and other services for children and families. Findings will inform the City's Child Care Service Plan and the new funding model for child care that is currently under development.
