Location: Leslie Street and Lake Shore Blvd TTC Leslie Barns Maintenance Facility
Project Profile:
The TTC Leslie Barns capital development project – a state-of-the-art maintenance facility for the TTC’s fleet of new low floor streetcar vehicles located at the southeast corner of Leslie Street and Lake Shore Blvd has generated a major public art opportunity. Brown + Storey Architects have designed the landscape of the Leslie Lakeshore ‘L’ and the TTC facility boundary wall. The public art opportunity is located within the landscaped greenspace between the boundary wall and the streetscape. The public artwork will be integrated into the landscape design and context of the site.
