Details are as follows: Date: Wednesday, September, 29, 2010 Time: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Location: Jimmie Simpson Community Centre • 870 Queen St. E. (Gymnasium) or Date: Thursday, September 30, 2010 Time: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Location: Mennonite New Life Centre of Toronto • 1774 Queen St. E. (Main level) Background During the summer of 2008, the Eastern Beaches area experienced a series of intense storms that resulted in the flooding of many residents’ homes. As a result, an Environmental Assessment (EA) began in August 2009 with the Eastern Beaches being identified as Study Area 32 for investigation (see map). Study Area 32 is loosely bounded by the Don River (W), Danforth Avenue (N), Victoria Park Avenue (E) and Lake Shore Blvd (S). The study will develop a plan to prevent future flooding and reduce the amount of storm water entering all storm and sanitary sewer systems. We would like to hear from you: If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to be provided with information or would like to be added to the study mailing list, please contact: Josie Franch Public Consultation Coordinator City of Toronto Metro Hall, 19th Floor 55 John St.
