50 Curzon Community Meeting

In April, a number of residents attended an informal meeting with Urbancorp, the developer who had purchased St. Joseph's school. Urbancorp’s application has now been officially submitted to City Planning and the next step is a community planning meeting which will be held on Monday, June 27 th.

The school site has been vacant for many, many years  and the new development

will mean a significant change for the community – both residents and the nearby schools.

This is a significant infill development for the neighbourhood and questions have been raised about density, setback and traffic which have made me aware there is a desire to have a good understanding of the planning process and where the community can have influence.

As well as the meeting on the Planning Application itself, Gregg Lintern, Director of Community Planning South District will give a quick “Community Planning 101” for all interested residents to discuss the all of the relevant aspects of a planning application

Please call me with any questions or call Denise Graham, the City Planner who is working on the development application. She can be reached at [email protected] / 416-392-0871.

Date: Monday June 27

Location: 65 Curzon, Parish Hall Basement

Times: 6:00 TO 7:00 pm: "Planning 101" Q & A
7:00 TO 9:00 pm:  Community Meeting
