Port Lands Acceleration - First Reports
I'd like to share with you this new set of reports on the Port Lands which have
been developed as part of the Port Lands Acceleration Project. Last September
City Council reaffirmed our confidence in Waterfront Toronto as the lead agency
for the development of Toronto's Waterfront and the Port Lands. City Council
also authorized Waterfront Toronto in co-operation with City staff to review the
assumptions of the Environmental Assessment for the mouth of the Don River; to
undertake all due diligence in relation to accelerating development across the
whole Port Lands rather than only the current Lower Don Lands precinct; and to
run financial and infrastructure forecasts. I am attaching reports which have
been developed to assist in making decisions on how to proceed. The first report
is a presentation to the Stakeholder Advisory Committee outlining the current

naturalization, and requirements for development as well as sample business

This is an ongoing process that will be completed in June. I will keep you
