Safe Schools Summit
I'm co-hosting the Safe Schools Summit with Deputy Mayor Mike Colle on Thursday, October 16th from 10 a.m. to noon at Toronto City Hall (Council Chambers).
The summit is in response to Premier Ford's plan to remove speed cameras from school safety zones and to highlight the impact it will have on the safety of our children attending Toronto’s over 800 schools.
We'll be joined by Mayor Chow, members of the SickKids Hospital & Toronto Metropolitan University research team, parents, transportation safety experts and other advocates deeply concerned about the removal of speed cameras from school safety zones.
Please let us know if you can make it.
Please sign and share my speed camera petition.
