Get your shovels ready! I have arranged for free compost to be dropped at several locations.
Friday, April 24th:
- Jimmie Simpson Park - 11 a.m.
Saturday, April 25th:
- Phin Park - 7 a.m.
- Monarch Park - 8 a.m.
- Kempton Howard Park - 9 a.m.
Sunday, April 26th:
- Greenwood Park - 7 a.m.
- Riverdale Park (by St. Matthew's Clubhouse) - 9 a.m.
*Please bring your own shovels and containers as compost will not be bagged. Compost will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and delivered on the above dates, rain or shine.*
Compost will also be available later this spring at the following locations:
- Dieppe Park Environment Day - May 23rd at 10 a.m.
- Withrow Park - June 6th at 8 a.m. (during the first Withrow Farmers' Market of the year)
- East York Civic Centre - June 23rd at 8 a.m. (during the East York Farmers' Market)
