Community Environment Day at Dieppe Park 2023
Join Councillor Fletcher on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (rain or shine) at Dieppe Park (455 Cosburn Ave in East York) for Community Environment Day!
Pick up:
- Free bagged leaf compost (limit of two bags per household, while supplies last)
- Kitchen containers for organics (available for purchase)
The will also be live music provided by Langford Amplified. Paper shredding services will also be available, with each household is limited to two bags of paper for shredding.
Drop off for recycling or proper disposal:
Donate items for reuse:
- Non-perishable food for donation
- Sporting goods
- Books (excluding textbooks)
- Cameras, CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays
- Dress-up clothing and costume jewelry
- Clothing, footwear, accessories, linens, etc.
- Small household items
- Musical instruments, board games
- Eyeglasses, walking aids, hearing aids, etc.
- Non-perishable food for donation
Please do not bring:
- Construction waste
- Air conditioners
- Garbage and Blue Bin recycling
- Wood
- Cassette and videotapes
- Commercial/industrial hazardous waste
- Tires and scrap metal
Councillor Fletcher is hosting a second Community Environment Day on Sunday, September 17th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm by Jack Layton Way and Bridgepoint Hospital.
