*Kids are welcome to ask their questions live during the Town Hall*

I am hosting a virtual Town Hall next Monday to help answer your questions and concerns about the vaccine for kids between ages 5 and 11. Joining me will be Dr. Janine McCready, Infectious Diseases Physician at Michael Garron Hospital, and Councillor Joe Cressy, Chair of the Toronto Board of Health.

I know how important your children's health and well-being are, and that some of you may need more information before booking an appointment.

Kids and families are welcome to ask their questions live during the Town Hall. You can also send your questions in advance to [email protected].

Below you can find further information on how to book an appointment.

To book a COVID-19 vaccine appointment, children must be turning five years old by the end of 2021 (born in 2016).

Appointments at City-run clinics can be booked online or by calling the provincial vaccine booking line at 1-833-943-3900.

Vaccination appointments for children ages 5-11 are available at the five City-run clinics: Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Woodbine Mall, Scarborough Town Centre, Cloverdale Mall and Mitchell Field Arena. The clinics have been set up with child-friendly settings. Experts in children’s health were consulted to help provide a positive vaccination experience for children. Read the City's news release for more information.

All vaccinations, including for children ages 5-11, are available at City-run clinics by confirmed appointment only. Additional appointments will be released in the provincial booking system as the vaccination campaign continues and additional supply is received. You can find details and updates on the City's website.

For first doses for children ages 5 to 11 through East Toronto Health Partners, please book an appointment at the ETHP Thorncliffe Park Community Hub clinic. This is a dedicated COVID-19 vaccine clinic in the East End for children ages 5 to 11 which features a family-friendly design. First doses, second doses and booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are available by walk-in to people aged 12 and up at ETHP mobile and pop-up clinics.
