Fall Community Environment Day
Join me on Saturday, September 14th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for my fall Community Environment Day!
I'm pleased to once again host my Fall Environment Day at its usual location by Bridgepoint Hospital (Bridgepoint Drive/Blue Rodeo Drive), rain or shine.

Pick up:
- Free loose leaf compost*
- Kitchen containers for organics (available for purchase)
Free paper shredding services will also be available, with each household limited to two bags of paper for shredding.
*Please bring your own shovel and containers as compost will not be bagged. Compost will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and delivered rain or shine.
Want to get or renew a library card? Visit the Toronto Public Library table at my Environment Day.

- Sporting goods
- Books (excluding textbooks)
- Cameras, CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays
- Dress-up clothing and costume jewelry
- Clothing, footwear, accessories, linens, etc.
- Small household items
- Musical instruments, board games
- Eyeglasses, walking aids, hearing aids, etc.
You can also bring non-perishable food items for those in need.
Learn and engage:
- Learn about the city's initiatives helping to make Toronto a green, sustainable city
- Hear from local volunteers and groups about environmental issues impacting our community
Items not accepted for disposal or donation:
- Construction waste
- Air conditioners
- Garbage and Blue Bin recycling
- Wood
- Cassette and videotapes
- Commercial/industrial hazardous waste
- Tires and scrap metal
