Get your shovels ready! I have arranged for free compost to be dropped at several locations.
Saturday, April 26th:
- Phin Park - 7 a.m.
- Jimmie Simpson Park - 12 p.m.
Sunday, April 27th:
- Monarch Park - 7 a.m.
- Kempton Howard Park - 8 a.m.
- Riverdale Park (by St. Matthew's Clubhouse) - 9 a.m.
- Greenwood Park - 12 p.m.
*Please bring your own shovels and containers as compost will not be bagged. Compost will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and delivered on the above dates, rain or shine.*
Compost will also be available later this spring at the following locations:
- Community Environment Day at Dieppe Park* - May 24th at 10 a.m. (*Compost will be bagged. Limit of two bags per household, while supplies last)
- Withrow Park - June 7th at 8 a.m. (during the first Withrow Farmers' Market of the year)
- East York Civic Centre - June 24th at 8 a.m. (during the East York Farmers' Market)
