2024 Community Compost Days

Get your shovels ready! I have arranged for free compost to be dropped at several locations. 

Saturday, April 20th:

• Phin Park - 7 a.m.
• Monarch Park - 8 a.m.
• Kempton Howard Park - 9 a.m.
• Jimmie Simpson Park - 12 p.m. (part of Leslieville Earth Day Together 2024)

Sunday, April 21st:

• Greenwood Park - 7 a.m.
• Riverdale Park - 9 a.m.

*Please bring your own shovels and containers as compost will not be bagged. Compost will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and delivered on the above dates, rain or shine.*

Compost will also be available later this spring at the following locations:

• Community Environment Day at Dieppe Park* - May 18th at 10 a.m. (*Compost will be bagged. Limit of two bags per household, while supplies last)
• Withrow Park - June 1st at 8 a.m. (during the first Withrow Farmers' Market of the year)
• East York Civic Centre - June 25th at 8 a.m. (during the East York Farmers' Market)
