As we find out more about Metrolinx's proposed Ontario Line, I've heard from many of you who are deeply concerned about the impact on local parks, including Jimmie Simpson and McLeary Playground, trees all along the proposed route, and other community greenspaces like the Gerrard/Carlaw dog park. Not to mention impacts in the Don Valley from the new bridge constructed near Millwood.
Local groups are organizing to protect these parks and I want to be sure that the City is taking a strong stance to protect our parks and keeping Metrolinx accountable.
However I need your support to get this through City Council. Please send an email to the Mayor and stand up for our parks!
