Community Environment Day at Dieppe Park 2022
Join Councillor Fletcher on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Dieppe Park (455 Cosburn Ave in East York) for Community Environment Day!
Pick up:
- Free bagged leaf compost (limit of two bags per household, while supplies last)
- Kitchen containers for organics ($7, cash only)
The shredding truck will also be available.
Drop off for recycling or proper disposal:
Donate items for reuse:
- Sporting goods
- Books (excluding textbooks)
- Cameras, CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays
- Dress-up clothing and costume jewelry
- Clothing, footwear, accessories, linens, etc.
- Small household items
- Musical instruments, board games
- Eyeglasses, walking aids, hearing aids, etc.
- Non-perishable food for donation
Please do not bring:
- ink cartridges or toner
- construction waste
- air conditioners
- garbage and Blue Bin recycling
- wood
- cassette and videotapes
- commercial/industrial hazardous waste
- tires and scrap metal
Councillor Fletcher is hosting a second Community Environment Day on Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm by Jack Layton Way and Bridgepoint Hospital.
